How to Download Videos Without Leaving Telegram

The fastest way to download a video is to never open a browser at all: message the link to @fastsaver_bot on Telegram and the bot replies with the file, right there in the chat. It covers TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X and Pinterest — free, no login, no watermark.

The whole workflow

1. Open the bot. Tap t.me/fastsaver_bot and hit Start. Once, ever.
2. Send a link. Paste it into the chat like you'd send it to a friend. No commands, no menus.
3. Get the file. The bot replies with the media as a normal Telegram message — video as playable video, photos as photos.

That's the entire product. No ads, no countdown pages, no "click download three more times".

What comes back, per platform

• Instagram: Reels arrive as video; photo posts come back as photos, and carousels come back as the full set, not just the first slide.
• YouTube: Shorts and regular videos both work, with one honest caveat about long videos — see the limits below.

• Pinterest: video pins as video, image pins as the full-resolution image.

Why a bot beats a website on your phone

On desktop the difference is taste. On a phone it's the whole point.

• No tab switching. You found the video in an app; you copy the link, paste it into Telegram, done. The browser never opens.
• The file lands in the chat. It sits there permanently — searchable, and synced to every device where you're signed into Telegram: phone, desktop, web.
• It's forwardable. A file from the bot is ordinary Telegram media. Forward it to a friend or a group like any other message — no re-download, no re-upload.

Group chats

The pattern that always works: keep the bot in a private chat and forward its replies into any group. Because the reply is normal Telegram media, forwarding is instant — the group just sees the file. One person with the bot quietly becomes the group's supply line.

The honest limits

File size. Telegram caps how large a file a bot can send — the standard bot upload limit is 50 MB. TikToks, Reels, Shorts and most clips never come close. A long or high-resolution YouTube video can be bigger than that, and then the bot simply can't deliver it, no matter how it tries. Public posts only. Private accounts, Stories and deleted posts don't work — through the bot, the website, or anyone else's tool, whatever their landing page claims. On whether you should download at all, the legality post is the straight answer.

Privacy

There's no account to create, so there's nothing to link. The bot sees your Telegram ID and the links you send — that's the whole dataset. Your phone number stays hidden (Telegram doesn't expose it to bots unless you explicitly share it), and since you never log into TikTok or Instagram through the bot, nothing connects your Telegram identity to your accounts on those platforms.

When it doesn't reply

• Silence. Bots occasionally lag under load or during a restart. Wait a minute and resend the link — that fixes most of it.
• Link rejected. The bot handles the six platforms above; a link from anywhere else gets a refusal, not a file. Also re-copy the link with the app's own Share button — hand-trimmed URLs sometimes lose the part that matters.
• Works on the site, fails in the bot. Almost always the 50 MB cap. Grab it from the website instead.
• Fails everywhere. Open the link in a private browser window while logged out. If it asks you to sign in, the post isn't public, and no downloader can get it.
