terms of use
the deal is simple: use it legally. whatever you download is on you. the long version is below. still short, still plain english.
what fastsaver is
fastsaver fetches a public media file and streams it through its own server to you. it doesn’t host media and doesn’t keep a copy. the file passes through and is gone.
personal use only
most things on social media are copyrighted, so fastsaver is for personal, offline use. save your own posts, openly licensed clips, or content a creator let you use. what’s not okay:
- reposting other people’s work as yours. that’s not saving, that’s stealing.
- using fastsaver to break copyright law or a platform’s terms of service.
- bulk-scraping, re-uploading, or building a business on other people’s content.
unsure whether you can use something? ask the creator. they usually reply. there’s a longer honest write-up at is it legal to download social media videos?
public content only
fastsaver only reaches content that’s already public. private accounts, followers-only posts and removed content don’t work. that’s by design, not a bug.
no warranty, fair limits
the service is free and provided as-is. platforms change their sites constantly, so a downloader sometimes breaks until it’s fixed. heavy automated use gets rate-limited so the site stays fast for everyone. need volume? use the developer API, which has its own terms at api.fastsaver.io.
for rights holders
if something’s wrong, message @coder2077 on telegram. takedown requests get a fast response. it’s in the name. how we handle data is on the privacy page.
