how to download from Instagram
- Copy the Instagram link. In the Instagram app or on instagram.com, open a public Reel, feed video, or photo post, tap the share icon, and choose Copy Link.
- Paste the link. Paste it on fastsaver.io. Reel links, /p/ post links, and instagr.am short URLs are all recognized as Instagram automatically.
- Skip the settings. There is no quality menu or MP3 toggle for Instagram — FastSaver simply fetches the Reel, video, or photo at the best quality Instagram serves.
- Save the file. A single post saves as one file. A carousel comes back as a grid of thumbnails instead, and each photo or video in it downloads with its own tap.

Instagram is built for scrolling, not saving. When a Reel deserves a permanent spot in your camera roll — a clip you want before the algorithm buries it, your own post whose original file you lost, or a friend's video they asked you to keep — FastSaver turns any public Instagram link into a real file. Two honest limitations: FastSaver only works with public posts, and it does not support Instagram Stories — if a tool claims otherwise, be skeptical. Keep downloads personal: save your own posts, media that is openly licensed, or things the creator is happy for you to keep, and credit people when you share. Can I download Instagram photos too?

Do private accounts work?
No. Only public posts can be reached. Private or removed content can’t be downloaded.
Do I need to log in?
Never. FastSaver works without an Instagram account or any sign-in.
Can I save just the audio from an Instagram Reel as an MP3?
Not with FastSaver. The audio-only MP3 toggle is available for TikTok and YouTube, but Instagram downloads always come through as the full video or photo. If the same sound exists as a TikTok or YouTube video, you can save the MP3 from there instead.
Why can’t I download Instagram Stories with FastSaver?
FastSaver does not support Instagram Stories. It works with public Reels, feed videos, and photos only, so pasting a Story link will not return a download.
How do I download an Instagram carousel with several photos?
Paste the post link as usual. FastSaver shows every item in the carousel as a grid of thumbnails — tap any of them to save that photo or video on its own. There is no zip file; each item downloads separately, at the same quality as a single post.
Is it legal to save Instagram Reels for offline viewing?
It depends on what you save and how you use it. Keeping your own posts, openly licensed media, or things you have been given permission to keep for offline viewing is generally fine. Reposting someone else’s work or using it commercially without permission is not. Always respect creators and Instagram’s terms of service.
