How to Download TikTok Videos Without a Watermark
Copy the video link, open fastsaver.io, hit download. The clean HD file saves without TikTok’s logo or the bouncing username. Free, no login, no bullshit.
steps
- Tap the share arrow on the video and choose copy link. On desktop, copy the URL from the address bar.
- Open fastsaver.io. The link is already in the box, or paste it.
- Hit download, then tap “download video”. That is the watermark-free copy. “download mp3” sits next to it if you only want the sound.
- Find the file. Where it lands depends on your phone; see saving videos on iPhone and Android.
when it won’t work
- Private or deleted videos. There is no public file to fetch, so you get an error.
- Profile links or sound pages. The link has to point at one video.
- Live streams. Only posted videos work.
the missing save button doesn’t matter
Creators can turn off downloads for one video or their whole account. Some clips lose the option because of the music in them. The share menu just won’t show “save video”. A link-based downloader never touches that button. If anyone can watch the clip, you can save it.
Quality matches the source. A clip filmed at low resolution stays low resolution, just without the overlay. Photo-mode slideshows work too; each slide comes back as a full-size image. Saving for offline viewing is fine, reposting someone’s work isn’t. Details in is it legal to download social media videos.

frequently asked questions
- Why does my saved TikTok still have a watermark?
- You used TikTok’s in-app save, which burns the logo onto the file. Copy the video link and paste it into fastsaver.io instead.
- Does TikTok notify the creator when I download their video?
- No. Neither the in-app save nor a link-based download sends any notification.
- Can I save just the sound instead of the video?
- Yes. Hit download and tap “download mp3”. There is a separate guide on saving TikTok sounds if you get stuck.
